Caring for our community
Matthew 22: 37-39 tells us “Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbour as yourself.’”
This teaches us about the order in which we must love; we must first love Him. Through that love we can learn to love ourselves and He does. And so from that overflow of His love poured out to us, we can then pour out our love onto others.
Through Community Care we are intentional about how we can help others and who we can partner with to bring our best to serve our local community. And you can be a part of that too by helping in-person with your time, skills and experience, by giving a financial blessing to this ministry or you can pray for us as we serve others.
