I grew up with many women in my life; in my extended family, through school, and in my church community. I didn't have a biological sister myself, but I was always drawn to the interactions of sisters. I was fascinated by the bond they shared, doing everything together; any sisterly interaction I would see, I would desire for myself. And so I found my sisterhood in my cousins, aunties who were close in age, female work colleagues, and friends I grew up with in my church.

Its easy to be a Sunday christian. We are in a place where we are the majority - believers. For 2 hours on a Sunday, it is easier to be Christlike.
This journey, pastoring a church is humbling. The times we live in now, so much is going on. We are shaken by so much more today than we were yesterday. Holding firm, our grip is exhausting; our grip on truth, realities, struggles, faith, hope. It can all weigh you down. But if we let go of what is heavy and hold firm to our faith in Him, we can find rest.

We love seeing growth happen beyond our Sunday. Serving others doesn't only happen during church services. It can happen at any time, anywhere. And when you do it with family; family who were once strangers, the benefit bursts our hearts.
