Key things you need to know for 2026 🌻
Our church calendar is up-to-date with all our activities for the year. You can view and save this on your device.
At the start of 2022, we moved our church calendar from four terms to three seasons. This will allow time for our leaders and teams to rest and to prepare for the season ahead.
Our calendar is divided into three seasons (SZN): February, March (SZN1), May, June, July (SZN2), September, October, November (SZN3). The season break for those serving on teams are in January, April, August and December. Our January and December months are considered our reset months for all our teams. This gives us the time and space to be wind down at the end of the year and prepare for the year ahead.
How We will Serve
-
Our Leadership team is made up of Leaders and Coordinators.

Veta & Letalaina will no longer lead separate life groups and will lead an open life group together.
Nia joins Rhoda as a coordinator for their sisters life group and providing support to Rhoda.
We thank Tusa for his time serving and leading one of our brothers life groups.

Experience Team: The team name is now changed from Events team to Experience team.
This name change is an accurate reflection of the heart of service for this team. Numa will then become the Team Coordinator.
FIT Team and Local Creative: Our Pastors have decided to put these efforts on hold to allow time to pray, re-evaluate and seek new direction from God.
We thank Tolo and Epi for their time serving in and leading FIT and to all those who have contributed to the Local Creative. -

We have enjoyed the change to our Life Group sessions with every group making time to pray together and bringing all life groups together for a big group session.
With feedback we have received, we will introduce more big group sessions for more time to fellowship as a wider group and to hear the move of God in each other’s lives.SZN 1 from Feb - Mar:
Week 1 - Prayer Meeting
Week 2 - 4 - Study session
SZN 2 from May - Jul:
Week 1 - Prayer Meeting

Week 2, 3 - Study session
Week 4 - Big group session
Nov will be an open month where life groups can decide what they would like to do.

Save the date Sunday 14 June, 5pm to join our church family. The AGM gives every member an important opportunity to ask questions and agree on the next steps. It is our yearly commitment to be fully transparent and move forward together.
How we will gather
-
Our Family Shared Lunches are for our church family making time share a meal together, hear stories of God’s goodness and sharing the upcoming season’s activities.
Everyone in our church family is invited to bring some food/drink to share and enjoy lunch together.
This is a great opportunity to look back at what God has done and realign ourselves to the vision and focus for the remaining time of the year.
We have two Family Shared Lunches for 2026:
Feb 1 - this one is important to join because you will hear the plans/programmes for the year.
Dec 6 - Our final shared lunch for the year will be on Vision Sunday.
There’ll be no shared family lunch in October as Wellington is hosting the National Conference, so we have moved it to Vision Sunday instead.
-
We believe that part of the journey to reaching others is to create an experience where one can encounter God. There is no experience too small or too big for our God and His people.
We aim to be intentional with the experiences that we plan, prepare and organise. We hope for these gatherings this year:
In April, a Sisters gathering (girls and women) led by Ivy and supported by Sisters life group leaders
In August, a Brothers gathering (boys and men) led by Ps. Dan and supported by our Brothers life group leaders
a Family gathering led by PAFT team and supported by our Parents support group
Information about these events and inviting your friends/family will be posted to Local Notices.
-
During Easter, we will hold the following services:
2 April - Holy Thursday
5 April - Risen Sunday
You are welcome to invite family and friends to join us at this time.
-
In line with our focus for this year “Send Me”, we are encouraged in Romans 10 to share the good news with others who are far from God.
Here are the dates for this opportunity:
28 - 29 March
29 - 30 August
Our Good News Weekend will look like this:
Saturday AM - We start with an early morning prayer meeting
Saturday PM service with a light supper.
Sunday AM service with a rostered life group serving morning tea.
The messages throughout this weekend will have a primary focus on introducing Jesus to those who do not know and believe in Him.
-
Celebrating our loved ones this year at:
10 May - Mothers Day
6 Sep - Fathers Day
4 Oct - Children’s Day
All Information about these services will be posted to Local Notices for our church family and a Facebook event will be created on our church’s Facebook page so you can invite your friends and family to come along.
-
A Thanksgiving Picnic will be held on Sat 21 Nov 2026 and led by our Young Adults.
Instead of a Thanksgiving Shared Lunch, we will make time during our services throughout November, to acknowledge others who serve with us.
-
Christmas eve will be a family night enjoying Christmas expressions shared by our church family with a light supper together.
-
Each year, during the Christmas and New Year holiday, we will not gather in-person. This will also mean that our teams who serve each Sunday can also enjoy rest with their loved ones.
Instead we will provide an online encouragement only on 27 Dec 2026 and 3 Jan 2027.
Our first Sunday together will be 10 Jan 2027.
