Keep Watch and Pray
I shared with Dan last night that growing up in church I have always enjoyed and looked forward to this night in the Easter Weekend. There is something about making time to be still in prayer and reflect on this season of Jesus' journey to the cross. Its been a while since we gathered with our church family in the evening. With the simple rearrangement of chairs, dim lighting, candles it can shift the atmosphere and bring everyone into a place of intimacy in prayer and worship.
We were encouraged to keep watch of what surrounds us that can lead us away from our Father. Keep watch, so that our we dont fall asleep to His leading in our lives. Keep watch and pray for others, pray for His will in our lives.
Through intimate time of prayer and worship you can experience a closer and deeper sense of surrendering yourself to the belief that we have a Father in heaven who longs to hear from you. No matter how long it takes, He will wait for you.
