This Has Been Heavy on our Hearts

And that's a wrap for our first creative event for The Local Creative Church; 2 nights of Zoom sessions and a gathering in-person that was livestreamed.

This has been heavy on our hearts for such a long time. And it was hard to hold back the overwhelming sensation of a deep gratitude to our Father in heaven, our church family, and our teams for such a time as this.

This is only the beginning and the intention was to START.
To start inviting others to a conversation about growing the body of Christ.
To start influencing connection between local churches because we are not in competition with each other, we are one body.
To start inspiring collaboration between brothers and sisters in Christ.
To start impacting the cultivation of creativity, worship, and production through being the hands and feet of Jesus in our local churches.

Our sermon series these past weeks have been about PRAYER. And so we continue to pray that this opportunity realigns to God's plan for ourselves and for our church family.

We are grateful for the God-appointed friendships we are forging in this season in our lives. To have conversations that encourage us, challenge us, draws us closer to our Father and to His sons and daughters. We are excited to walk alongside our brothers and sisters and remember them as they also lead their church families. Thank you Mike, we are grateful for you.

So thankful for the representation of the body of Christ from different churches within the Wellington Region, and in other parts of NZ and abroad. We will remember you and your churches in our prayers.
